In this role, you’ll prove yourself to be a code and thought leader, working hand in hand with our growing team of worldwide developers, using everything from custom Artisan commands to Dusk tests to ensure product quality across multiple Laravel applications. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from planning and
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Use a variety of programming languages and other technical abilities to contribute to new and ongoing development projects
• Work with the other members of the development team, the Lead PHP Developer, and other members of the Leadership team, to design and brainstorm solutions
• Continue to develop skills that relate to the industries and technologies related to Dealers United and its ongoing projects
• Influence product decisions, features,
• Independently take projects to completion
• Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement of the platform
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements, project and story acceptance criteria
• Stay up-to-date with new the latest tools and strategies
IDEAL CANDIDATE KNOWLEDGE SKILLS + ABILITIES:
• Strong understanding of OOP PHP and the Laravel framework
• Ability to work in a team environment utilizing version control to develop components that will integrate with existing programming structures
• Demonstrated ability to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment
• Ability to understand, produce, and communicate reports and metrics
COMPENSATION
$40,000 to $60,000 annually
